  • When should I over-seed my lawn?

Spring or fall are the best times. However, avoid applying pre-emergent weed control within a few weeks of seeding. We prefer fall.

  • Should I use granular or liquid weed control?

We prefer liquid. It starts working on contact and delivers better, faster results. Granular products need to be watered in and are generally less effective.

  • When is a good time to aerate my lawn?

Spring or fall. We prefer fall because of the cooler temperatures. Aerating in hot weather can stress your lawn. Fall is also a great time to seed simultaneously with aerating.

  • How do you bill me?

We can email your invoice or send it by mail after the service is complete. You have 30 days to pay, and we accept credit cards for emailed invoices.

  • Are you certified?

Yes, we are certified by the state of Minnesota and the Minnesota Department of Agriculture.

  • What length should I cut my grass at?

Typically, 3"–3.5" during the summer. This height helps retain moisture and provides shade for the lawn. Cutting it too short can cause it to dry out more quickly.
